Carol Orsborn is the author of over 25 books for and about the Boomer generation. Her most recent book, The Spirituality of Age: A Seeker’s Guide to Growing Older, won Gold in the 2015 Nautilus Book Awards in the category of Aging Consciously. Orsborn is founder and editor-in-chief of Fierce with Age, the Digest of Boomer Wisdom, Inspiration and Spirituality.
Dr. Orsborn earned her doctorate from Vanderbilt University in the field of History and Critical Theory of Religion, specializing in adult life stage and spiritual development. For the past forty years, she has been a compelling voice of her generation, appearing on “Oprah”, “The Today Show”, “CBS Morning News”, “The New York Times” and “The Wall Street Journal” among many others. She speaks regularly before association and industry groups on the Boomer generation, such as keynoting the 2016 Sage-ing International Conference, Book Expo’s 2009 and 2010 conventions as chair of the marketing to boomer women panel, the American Society of Aging, What’s Next Boomer Summit, the Positive Aging Conference and many more.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UC Berkeley, Orsborn has served on the faculties of Georgetown University, Vanderbilt University’s Leadership Development Center, Loyola Marymount University and the Doctoral Program in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University.
Orsborn lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Dan, and their dogs Lucky and Molly. She is the grandmother of two.
